What sets it apart
The clue is in the site's own title: "Sports Betting & Football Betting Online".
Where BetNeptune opens on the casino, AfricaSports opens on the match list. The name
can mislead: this is not a site limited to African leagues. Its UK promotions pages
on 6 October 2026 were led by the Premier League, the EFL Championship, La Liga,
Serie A, Ligue 1 and the UEFA Nations League.
Football is the focus, not the whole menu. The same pages list horse racing (with
extra-place races and a first-past-the-post settlement offer), greyhounds, tennis,
cricket, rugby, golf, snooker, boxing, motorsport, basketball and ice hockey.
Betting tools
Expect the tools a weekly football punter actually uses: a bet builder for
same-match combinations, an accumulator boost, a weekend sports cashback scheme, and
in-play markets. Because it shares a platform with AceLucky, the betting slip and
account screens will look familiar if you already play there.
The free bet in practice
Take a £10 free bet placed at 3.00. If it wins, the return is £30 minus the £10
stake, because free-bet stakes are not paid back, so £20 lands in your bonus balance.
Wager that £20 once on settled bets within 7 days and it becomes withdrawable cash.
Up to £200 can be converted this way. Three things void or block the offer: a
Skrill or Neteller deposit, a withdrawal request while the bonus is live, and having
already claimed a sports welcome elsewhere in the network.
The casino side
Casino and live each have their own tab in the main menu, next to sports. The
casino welcome is deliberately plain: 25% up to £50, no spins, 10x
on bonus bets inside 30 days, converting at no more than the bonus amount. It is a
separate claim from the sports free bet, through a separate cashier, and does not
require you to bet on sport.
Money in, money out
The cashier lists debit cards, PayPal (UK and Ireland), Apple Pay, Trustly, instant
bank payments and Paysafecard among its methods; UK rules bar credit cards.
Withdrawals return to your deposit method where possible after a one-business-day
processing step, and you will be asked to verify your identity before the first
one is paid.
Verdict
For someone whose betting week revolves around football, AfricaSports is the most
focused of the three sisters, and its free bet is about as low-friction as UK
welcome offers get: £10 in, £10 free bet, 1x on winnings. Casino players will get
more from BetNeptune; for an all-rounder, go back
to AceLucky, or compare with LekkerBets.

How does the AfricaSports £10 free bet work?
Make a first deposit of at least £10 through the sports cashier and a one-time £10 free bet is credited. Use it at odds of 1.5 or longer; the stake is not returned. Winnings go to your bonus balance, need wagering once within 7 days, and convert up to £200.
Is AfricaSports only for African football?
No. Despite the name, the UK promotions pages cover the Premier League, the Championship, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1, plus racing, tennis, cricket, rugby, golf and more. It also has a casino and live casino.
Is there a casino bonus at AfricaSports too?
Yes, a separate one: 25% up to £50 on a first casino deposit of £10 or more, 10x wagering on the bonus money within 30 days, convertible up to 1 time the bonus. It has no free spins. It is claimed through the casino cashier and does not require any sports bet.
Why might my free bet not appear?
Common reasons in the terms: depositing with Skrill or Neteller, depositing through the casino cashier instead of the sports one, or already having taken a sports welcome bonus at another site in the same network, which allows one per player.
Who runs AfricaSports?
ProgressPlay Limited, the same operator behind AceLucky. The africasports.com domain is listed as a white label on its Gambling Commission account, 39335.
